Devil Child pt1

Candi always knew she was different. After all, none of the other kids in the town had eyes like Rubies. She knew they were jealous of them too. She heard their mommies calling them Devil Eyes behind her Daddy's back. She knew they called her "Devil Child". Her Daddy sometimes would call her that, when she would do something that made Mommy gasp. "My Charming little Devil Child," He would say proudly, when she distroyed a chair with a single word.

Candi also knew she was smarter than the other kids. She always got the answer right in class. She also knew a lot of stuff normal kids didn't, things most adults never learned. She knew about the different planes of existence, and about a ton of different religions, some the adults never spoke of in church. She especially knew a lot about Hextor, cause that who her Daddy thinks is the best. She thinks Hextor is pretty cool, but also like Weejas a lot too.

But the thing Candi knew the most about was magic. She loved the feel and smell of it. Most of all, she loves magic items.  She's not too good at using them yet, but she loves playing with them when Daddy's not around. Wands are her most favorite.

Yes, Candi Darkenhelm is a very special little girl. Blessed by Hextor himself. Both smart and powerful, she has her whole life ahead of her. However, Candi's life is not an easy one. Not after what happened to her parents.
